Just before 2019 came to its end, we were able to put in effect a fully working industrial intercom communication system in the ALCOMET sheet rolling plant factory, located in Shumen, Bulgaria. All the equipment used in the application to be able to meet the high requirements for functionality is the Austrian company COMMEND. The installed Intercom system is an IP based industrial type. All together 8 Series Call Stations with IP66 protection and Desktop control stations have been installed. The “Heart” of the system is an intercom server S3. The system allows recording of all communications (on the client’s computer, through a system software), connection of indicator lamps and IP cameras to the end calling devices as well as contact inputs/outputs for analog integration from/to other functional systems.
